I know a drilling Superintendent who is working out of Oklahoma right now.

He would tell all of America - unequivocally - that any progress made in the oil industry is made IN SPITE of this disastrous walking liar of a president's policies - and not because of them.

In fact, Obama's policies' goals is to destroy and undremine our entire energy industry...closing hydroelectric power plants, destroying coal mining industry which produces electricity, and placing moratoriums on drilling in the U.S.

Ask Obama:  What exactly is the amount of profit promised to Soros and your campaign donors...at the expense of Americans and our energy industry?

Get this fraud out of our White House. Enough already.

Ideas I Never Considered about Operation Fast & Furious

There was a bombastic back and forth today between news anchors and guest sources covering another one of the Obama administration’s failures, Operation Fast and Furious.

While admittedly a bit naïve, I realize I never fully thought through all of the implications this scandal exposes.

As I fully digest the reality of this illegal and deadly operation, and reflect on it from a constitutional perspective, it reaffirms for me why this country needs to retire President Obama and his entire cabinet in November.

How Eric Holders continues to sit starry eyed in front of Rep. Darrell Issa commission hearing after commission hearing is beyond me!

But, what truly angers me now is the underlying insidiousness of the operation. Putting American guns in the hands of Mexican cartel members and criminals, which were then subsequently used to kill an American border agent in order to tighten gun laws and further erode our Second Amendment rights, is pure evil.

Americans should be outraged.

If Obama is not impeached over “declaring war” without Congressional approval, this Mexican gun-running debacle might just do the trick.

In recent days, Tea Party groups have expressed their anger and frustration, and rightly so. It’s the same old government quandary—to posture or not to posture but by no means resolve the problem.

While some still love to misguidedly slam the “Tea Party Patriots” for their core mission, to reduce Federal government, thank goodness these groups continue to make noise. The top three House Republicans have been slow to lead the charge of the GOP’s criticism of the botched operation, which is likely due to the general election.

An innocent man is dead, our constitutional rights continue to be trampled on, and GOP leadership doesn’t have the guts to walk the walk with the Obama administration.

It’s no wonder U.S. Congressional approval is at a historical, all-time low! 

Obama’s Energy Policy Puts Stranglehold on America’s Economy

I recently received an email from old client and friend who works in the oil / gas industry for a company that performs major maintenance projects and turnarounds. 

The email explained that my friend had attended a depressing job fair where former employees for two separate major refineries back East were seeking jobs. Essentially, the refineries are closing and people are going to be laid off, a lot of good people. He went on to add that there could be a third major refinery closing if it’s not sold by this June.

Let me add that these people are quite simply the salt of the Earth. They live and work in our nation’s homeland. They are honest, hard workers, smart, brave and kind.

They are America’s middle-class and they are suffering due to Obama’s current energy policy: a do nothing approach that makes no sense whatsoever unless you’re a tree-hugging, low to no fuel environmentalist who loves how this may impact Leaf sales!

There aren’t enough best practices in the world right now to correct the dismal failure that is President Obama’s energy policy.

Gas has doubled since 2009, and could soar to as much or more than $10 per gallon if Israel decides to go to war with Iran to protect itself and the rest of the world from Iran’s deceptive nuclear program.

And, how about Solyndra?! Let’s not forget how many tax dollars have been flushed down the “Solyndra toilet” by all of the “Solyndra’s” out there and by President “My Way or the Highway” Obama.

I am all for Green technology and environmental concessions which make sense. Hell, I drive a 2005 Prius!

But, let’s get one thing straight about the Obama administration’s energy policy. It’s by no means smart or supported by the majority of Americans. All you need to do is go into the streets and ask a few random people. Well, maybe not the OWS people, they’ve drunk too much of the Soros / MoveOn.org Kool-Aid.

Rather it’s just more of the same liberal progressive, Big Government strangulation of middle-class America and its extremely fragile and broken economy.
