So many questions, so little time

If you've got constructive answers, feel free to comment.

Why would a terrorist group need the cover of a video to commit an act of terror? Is not an act of terror by definition that which cannot easily be thwarted in advance? That's what makes it terrifying.

Why is Obama et. al. so quick to blame the 14 minute video clip without question, yet hesitant to state what most people knew from the moment they first heard about it?

Like I have heard on the Five (good show by the way), who first proposed the notion of a Youtube video being the source for any and all rancor across the greater middle east. Why is this person not on television?

Why are we not angry here in the US at the mutilation of American citizens on American property and the raising of AQ Black flags in at least four American consulates? Also are these not acts of war?

When will we acknowledge the fact that Iran and its allies are on a course to wage all out war on Israel first, then on all the West?

Why do we allow the likes of Iran's leader to appear here on American soil at the UN. Do we not have any say as to who can come and go within our sovereign territory?

Can the UN be moved to some other country? I'm offended by the presence of that institution on American soil as long as it treats ruthless dictators on the same level as heads of state in good standing.

Why are Christians not as angry and offended about a crucifix suspended in a vat of urine on display in a public museum as the Muslims appear to be with regard to their religious symbols?

Why are we giving away cell phones to minorities in inner cities? I never heard of this until I heard from the rather enthused Obama supporter out of Cleveland.

Why is it not ok to state the fact that 47% or so of the populace of this country are in one way or another dependent on the federal government for their livelihood?

Will Romney come alive in the debates, like Reagan did against Carter? I hope so. He needs a "Well, there you go again." moment.

When federal officials opine in front of a mic, like Hillary Clinton, how come they only seem to regurgitate facts that we already know. Telling us over again what we already know takes up the allotted airtime and makes these people seem knowledgeable, but you may notice that they never really say anything.

Calling All Agents of Change!

It will be necessary for all "agents of change" to learn more about Romney / Ryan 2012 plan to save the American Dream and vote on November 6.

This incredible Shining City on the Hill, which has been a haven to so many families from around the world, simply can't afford four more years of economic and national security disaster, not to mention a leader chooses to "lead from behind" and compromise our military and national security.

Let's put bipartisan bickering aside and elect a presidential leader who has the ability to fix this country from the outside in and inside out.

Americans who voted for Barack Obama in 208 share why they're changing their vote in 2012 and will be casting their ballot for Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan in November.

We Built America Poster
You can buy this very cool We Built America poster at the Romney / Ryan online store. Even better, you can relax and shop, and avoid all risk of American flag sacrilege!

The one thought that truly seemed appropriate in regards to the latest Obama swag was: WTF! Crass, maybe, but nonetheless honest and from the heart.

How can anyone take the current administration seriously given its blatant failure across almost all areas of governance including most recent the Arab Spring, YouTube video and U.S. State Dept. blunders, and more specifically take seriously a president who feels it is A-okay to post this kind of vulgar campaign swag to his online store.
Today's guest blogger JH has his own insights to share today regarding the above obamination:
I don't see a problem here, all 9 colonies are well represented. :) That's why our overlords aren't upset when the old flag, (the one with 13 stripes) gets trampled, since we don't use those old things anymore.
The new Post America is so wonderful! Why just today, we are getting a new space shuttle exhibit at the history museum up in Lost Angeles. The shuttle will forever sit down the hall from the dinosaurs, right next to the spot they are saving for the internal combustion engine and incandescent light bulb.
Hooray!
We celebrate failure, demonize success, make instant celebrities out of people you wouldn't want as a neighbor and surrender without so much as a fight our God given rights of free speech to a bunch of cranks whose own countries are barely out of the middle ages. This world is completely and utterly upside down.
I remember, not too long ago, when some hippie dude tried to light an American flag on fire during a game in the middle of the outfield at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles. Rick Monday, an outfielder for the Cubs, ran over and swiped away the flag before the guy could light it on fire. It wasn't that long ago. At the time, Rick Monday was deemed a hero and he is still in possession of that flag to this day. Nowadays, who knows? Obama would probably say Rick Monday "acted stupidly".

EUG Political Cartoon Pick of the Week

I saw this one circulating on Twitter and just couldn't resist.

It's time to stop hoping and praying, and start doing something proactive like retiring Obama/Biden on November 6, 2012.

Vote for the Romney-Ryan ticket and watch the economy and America thrive just like it did when Carter was retired by Ronald Reagan!

Man in Park Today Made Me So Mad! Then I Told Myself: "Get Over It!"

I am not sure why I get so angry.

But, today as I was taking my morning walk, I overheard these two men talking about the election and I just erupted...luckily it was in my head.

The older man says to the younger man, "Who are you going to vote for?" The younger man (in his late 40s) says to the older man, "Obama, yeah, Obama." The older mans says something about "knowing" Michelle...yada yada yada.

And that's when I thought I was going to explode or rather implode.

Really, Obama?! My first thoughts: thank God it is Utah and the electoral votes will go to Romney Ryan and so glad Romney is still ahead in the polls after the DNC Meets Hollywood show. But then, I just kept thinking...and thinking...and thinking...how could anyone right now of sound mind vote for a President who has failed his country so badly, used divisive and ugly tactics throughout his presidency and four years of continual campaigning, and ask a country to give him four more years (so much for Obama's "one-term proposition" homily) no matter the party affiliation.

I continue to mull over as I walk: unemployment remains at an all-time high, more people than ever before on welfare and food stamps, soaring healthcare rates despite the behemoth legislation called Obamacare (which a majority of Americans did NOT want to see passed), private sector creating almost no jobs in August with a dismal forecast for small business growth...hmm.

Then, on my way back up the hill staring out at the beautiful Wasatch Front, I revisit the young man's reply again in my head: "Obama, yeah, Obama," and I just can't stop muttering to myself: "Are you freaking kidding me?!" "What planet are you from?" "Wake up and smell the coffee!"

Then it occurs to me, many in Utah don't drink coffee and my internal combustion chamber begins to subside.

I take a deep breath, continue to enjoy my walk knowing deep down I will get past my ire for fact-less, kowtowing R-Obama-ots one "blog, Tweet and Facebook post for #RomneyRyan2012" at a time.

This Sandra Fluke cartoon made me BELLY LAUGH today!

And given we are well into Day 2 of DNC, this cartoon was well worth stumbling upon says this elephant with a sigh.

It's certainly a sad day when American youth feel taxpayers should be subsidizing their sexual lifestyle. When does the crippling "entitlement" attitude stop and individual accountability start?

Please tell me on November 6, 2012 with a brand administration: Vote RomneyRyan2012 because Obama Isn't Working.
