I created “Elephant Under Glass” as a way to express my feelings and insights about America and American policy and the lifestyle issues I care most about from a commonsense perspective to help break down today's partisan gridlock and finally get er' done in Washington D.C. for the benefit of all Americans.
While I do have some strong opinions that tend to lean right of center (which I won't apologize for), I try hard not to be a dogmatic naysayer — after all it is going to take compromise and honest discussion to achieve real solutions.
Having grown up surrounded by liberals but now happily married and living among “can do” Westerners, Elephant Under Glass (coined EUG by friends and family, not to be confused with UGG) strives to bring a mix of insightful, humorous and sometimes mundane snapshots of life, liberty and of course the pursuit of happiness.
