April 24, 2015 | 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide
This is an incredibly important issue to me and my family as
I am Armenian. For anyone who knows about this ugly mar in history, they know
how many American Armenians were impacted, how many family members were lost
and/or orphaned, and they know how inherently strong the Armenians are as a
culture. While I am not the most active of my family members across Armenian
orgs/causes, I do have a deep appreciation and understanding of what my
ancestors (both grandmothers) went through in the early 1900s and thank them
each day for the strength they've instilled in me over the years.
